Excellent GCSE Results at St Gregory’s

We are delighted to celebrate another excellent set of GCSE results at St Gregory’s Catholic Science College.

Our students have worked incredibly hard, and we are very proud of what they have achieved. Their results reflect not only their commitment and determination, but also the hard work of our staff and the support of parents and carers.

Our Attainment 8 score of 57.2 is significantly above the national figure (46 in 2025), showing the strength of achievement across the curriculum.

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2026 and look forward to welcoming them back to our outstanding sixth form on 2nd September!

Outstanding Sixth Form Results at St Gregory’s

We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Sixth Form students in the 2026 A-level and vocational examinations. Our young people have worked incredibly hard, and we are extremely proud of their achievements.

Our A-level results are particularly strong. 13.7% of grades were A*, compared with 9.7% nationally, while 37.6% were A–A* compared with 28.5% nationally. An impressive 69.86% achieved A–B*, compared with 54.7% nationally, and 87.67% achieved A–C*, compared with 78.9% nationally.

Our vocational students have also achieved exceptional results. 46% achieved Distinction–Distinction* and 80% achieved Distinction–Merit*, both above national figures. Most remarkably, 100% achieved Distinction–Pass*, compared with 97.1% nationally.

Our ALPS Grade 2 and outstanding three-year average of Grade 1 demonstrate the exceptional progress our students make at St Gregory’s.
