St Gregory’s 2 - 1 Preston Manor
On Monday 8th October our talented Year 8 football team beat Preston Manor 2-1 and have advanced to the next round of the Middlesex Cup.
Ellie Murphy 8H and Leah McGinley 8B joined the boys’ team as we had a number of injuries in the squad. Leah McGinley 8B scored twice to give us the victory and on both occasions was set up by her brother Shay 8A - amazing!!!
As always our students were outstanding and represented the school exceptionally well.

St Gregory’s was inspected by Ofsted on 25th and 26th February 2025 and the school was judged to have maintained our Outstanding status that we achieved in our previous inspection (March 2019).
We are proud to announce that our A-level value added score of +0.43 puts us in the top 2% of schools in the country and our Vocational value added score puts us in the top 2.5% of schools nationally, as confirmed by the recently published information by the Department for Education ( DFE). This outstanding achievement highlights the dedication and hard work of our students, staff and school community.
