Remote Learning

Congratulations to the entire school community for the excellent transition to remote learning. Each day since the Christmas holidays our pupils have attended five face-to-face, live lessons and two registration sessions with their form tutor.

School staff have worked tirelessly to familiarise themselves with Google Classroom in order to ensure that pupils continue with their normal lessons during the national lockdown.

Pupils without tablets and/or webcams have been given resources by the school. All this work and effort has resulted in 98.4% attendance in live lessons last week. Pupils are following their usual timetables, with continued expectations regarding the completion of homework, teacher feedback and school uniform.

Thank you to all the parents and carers of our pupils. We realise that this is a very difficult time and that school closures add extra pressure to family life. We appreciate your support in assisting us so that we can continue to deliver excellent learning opportunities.
